City of Salisbury + Navtrak: A Win-Win for All

Friday, March 2nd, Salisbury, MD – Mayor James Ireton, Jr. and Navtrak CEO Ron Hodges today announced the implementation of Navtrak’s GPS-based fleet management and driver productivity service on the city’s Public Works Department fleet of vehicles.

“Working together with Navtrak, the City is instituting Automated Vehicle Location technology. When you overlay that with our Cityworks work-order management system, we now have the ability to determine and manage both the equipment costs (Navtrak), and the human costs (Cityworks), for services we provide for citizens. I’m excited to have this global technology available to us to improve efficiency at the municipal level,” said Mayor Ireton.
